    Default KITFOX Wins Caveman Shortfield Landing

    Had a Great time at the BackCountry Flyin at Caveman Ranch in Utah last week, and the KITFOX 5 showed the other light planes 1200lbs and under empty weight how to do it. Density Altitude of 6000' total combined landings 330' for two combined landings.

    Nice job Big John. Congratulations! I was planning on going and keep checking the weather only to continually see 25-35 mph winds forecast by NOAA. As a result I stayed home and installed a new windsock. Were the winds really that bad??

    Thursday the winds were up to 40kts, Fri down in the 20's and on the day of the contest (Sat) single digits to low teens.
