Default covering fuselage , splicing fabric

Hello all!!!! I am covering the bottom side first like the instructions say and I will be running out of fabric. I have (4) 22" pieces left over from covering the wing. Can I spice these in on the sides? I would put the splice on the side stringers with of course a 1" overlap with finishing tape over that. Instructions show a full piece on each side but wanted some input from everyone before I did anything.

    thanks again

I would not. Do you not have enough fabric for the full pieces per the build manual?
