Not looking for a fight, just wondering if any plus size pilots fit comfy in the SS7 (with adjustable rudders) The highlander says it can fit around 6'4'' with comfort. thanks.

No problem. I personally watched people your size or larger get into and out of the factory demo planes all week long at Oshkosh. I once had a guy 6' 7"" tall get into my model 4. It was tight but he fit. The SS7 is larger than my model 4 inside.

I'm 6'4" 230 and have had a friend 6'5" 270 with me for an 1:30 trip. Comfortable and the KF 5 performed perfectly. You should have no problem.

Thanks for the replies...... I can fit in a mini cooper but I'm not sure about a long X-country trip in one.... If you go and sit in one at a airshow, I think after an hour or so ... "Hey buddy, I think times up now"
I'm 5'6" 165 lb.s the plane feels built for my size, anybody over 6' in my Series
5 has always felt very crowded. Not saying they don't fit, but they are crammed in ... That's the honest truth, anybody says a 6+ footer fits in
comfortably is stretching the truth.

This is me at 6'3" in a Kitfox at Oshkosh 2011. I'm not 250lbs but I am by no mean squeezed in there. I made my plane more comfortable for my height by moving the rudder pedals FORWARD an inch. It makes the angle of your ankle much more comfortable. Either way. It has enough room for a tall guy. Way more than a 150 that's for sure.
Oh and just a quick edit. I don't think you have more room in a highlander. They are pretty tiny.

Just to be more clear. By moving the pedals forward an inch I meant moving them towards the pilot.
Happen to be at a Fly It Forward function in Boise when I was reading this.
Paul Leadabrand (Stick and Rudder Aviation) has been doing flight training in his Series 7 for 3 years. He is 6'2" 210 and has many students as tall as 6'6"and 200+. I'm 6' 220... Have done many flights since 1999 with a variety if height and weights... And have flown VERY long cross countries with passengers my size comfortably.
And NO... I am not stretching the truth.
I guess I'll have to wait for Oshkosh and see if the shoe fits myself. thanks everybody for the replies.
