    Default Lift strut bracket

    I everybody,,,im ready to install my wing for rigging soon,,,i dont know if it better to put out the paint on my lift strut bracket before to glue it on spar????

    We just scuff it real good - usually with a roto tool while deburring the inner holes. Be careful not to mar the spar when sliding it into place.

    I write direct to john mcbean about that and he said "Actually scuff (scotchbrite) the inside of the bracket and prep the spar..
    best to not remove the powder coating as it acts as a separation from the
    metals."
