My manual says to use Tri-Flow to lubricate the rod end bearings. Tri-Flow has a plethora of lubricants. Does anyone know specifically which Tri-Flow lubricant I am supposed to use on the rod end bearings?
Thanks,
Dave Van Lanen

Hi,
I use LPS 1 on just about everything. It seems to lubricate nice and I have had no problems as of yet. I'm sure others with more experience and credentials, will say what they have used.

I'm using the LPS too Dave.

I'm using LPS as well -
LPS 1 for flaperon bearings
LPS 2 for Rod ends
Available at Aircraft Spruce among other places.
I use both LPS and Tri-Flo but I can't tell you which one, I think I got it at a bike shop.

Series 7 - Tri-Gear

Use both and I did get the tri flow from my bike shop.

My model 4-1200 kit was from 2001 and almost every rod end was bone dry and on some the eye could not be moved with my fingers. I bought a grease gun and injected lithium grease into all of them. I recommend everyone check their rod ends for proper lubrication before assembly.
Hope this helps
Roger.
Thanks to everyone for their responses.
