While the forecast is not the CAVU weekend we had hoped for the weather for Sat looks good enough and the fly in is ON.

Looking out the window here in Greene on Friday evening shows a semi-high overcast/broken ceiling, some haze and light winds. I expect more of the same for the next couple of days though heavy fog is forecast for Sunday morning and the airport is in a river valley so I suspect Sunday departures will be after 11:00 AM for those spending the night. As always, I'll make ground transportation available for 10 or so per trip to local hotels, stores, places to eat, etc. Camping is availble at the field or my place 10 minutes or so away. I'll have burgers and dogs on the grill with chips, drinks, paper places, etc. for lunch tomorrow.

I'll also have all tools needed to build a Kitfox nearby so any necessary field repairs should be covered.

If anyone has questions or needs anything, please call my cell at 315-409-6579.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

    Chris

Happy the weather paid attention to the goat sacrifices. Hate to waste good goats. I agree. Great looking Kitfox's.

    A few more pics.
The day ended with a flour bomb dropping competition.
If you ever find yourself in the middle of a similar battle, the safest place to be in the whole field was on top of the target.
