    Default Where I Fly.

This thread is started in the hopes that you will not only enjoy the pictures but that you will post some of your own for others to enjoy. Lets see what you see when you go for that Sunday afternoon joy ride and give your location.
Southern Alberta, Canada is where I fly. We have flat, hills, mountains, wind, snow, heat, cold, rivers and the freedom to fly. Enjoy

You're a lucky man Mic. Beautiful Country, with a capital C.
Love all the green. Just can't handle your white winters.
    Safe flying Mic.

    Great photographs!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Lethbridge a number of years back.... had an excellent time there. One of those places you want to return to for another visit!

    Thanks for posting the pictures!

Very nice Mic, Looks like I will have to come up there sometime! Love the wing-man shot.

Good idea for a thread...I made it a sticky up top for a while.

I mostly just putt around in my Kitfox and enjoy a bird's eye view of the field patterns and colors. The Kittitas Valley in central Washington.

    Tom,
Do you fly the river/canyon to get to Yakima? Is that the best way?

The canyon, known as the Ellensburg Canyon if you live in Yakima or the Yakima Canyon if you live in Ellensburg, is the direct route between the two towns. I don't fly down in the canyon but stay above the ridge tops on the west side of the canyon. The right hand side in this picture looking south from Ellensburg.

Yea, that's it. If I remember right, the east side is Umpanim (?) and is restricted (?) due to a minitary area, maybe even a MOA? The old mind just can't quite remember.
