    Hey Eddie,

Did you get your cabin cover from Bruce's?

Got it from Kitfox as part of the original order, now four years ago. Missed out on the New Logo as a result. But, as you can see, the dang thing fits like a glove. I love it and it is rather simple to put on.

Im guessing about 20x20 inch bag. It must end up at about 5" thick when not compressed. It tossed in the baggage compartment up against the back wall, Doesn't weigh a bunch. My Backpack consumed far more space.

I just measured mine... it came from Kitfox in a nicely made pouch type bag made of the same Evolution 4 material. The dimensions are approximately 18"x12"x4" thick, and the weight is approx. 3.5#

Just took a 3 day airplane camping trip thru some of Oregon's outback places. First overnight stop was at Red's Horse Ranch on the Minam River in the beautiful Wallowa Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. Next I flew to the very remote and desolate Owyhee Reservoir airstrip in SE Oregon. The last place was Lands Inn Ranch in the hills above Dayville, OR, a fly-in ranch with green grass and lots of shade trees and camping or small cabins to rent.

    Jim,
Thanks for the report and the pictures. I have been into the Owyhee "airport". I recall when landing a guy following asked how you could tell if you were on the runway. My answer was "if you can see it, you are not on it". Another place you might try sometime is Doug Bar nestled in a flat area on the Oregon side of Hells Canyon.

    Jim,

I love what you do.....Kitfox, grass strip, tent - that's gotta be as good as it gets!

    Thanks for sharing.

Camped at Owyhee once - drove in - interesting road. Beautiful spot - about 14 crow miles NNE of the landing strip - east side of the lake.

Did you stay at the Owyhee Hilton? I really like the interesting airstrip and remoteness of it.
