    Default Nose Gear Bearings

Anyone have a suggestion for reaming the nose gear fork bearings so they fit nicely over the nose gear axle?

Ya, I had the same problem, the inside diameter of the bearing is too small and can't be forced on, if you want it to turn smooth.

Those brass bearings, don't get them hot in the process as the oil will come out. I just got a big round hand file, held the bearing inside a paper bag and filed it away as I watched TV. It tood quite some time to file it down enough, as I recall, but the fit was good.

Thanks Roger. I might end up doing the same as you. Hopefully I haven't sucked all of the oil out of them with my efforts so far.
