    Default Airbox clearance

I am building a KF4 with a 912 ULS. The engine mount is a dynafocal type. I am thinking of using an airbox instead of just filters. Some of the photos in other threads appear to show that there is not enough room for an airbox. Has anyone done this or is it not possible.

You will need to relocate the oil tank.

Which leads to the question of why do you want an airbox?

It supports the other end of the carburetors and gives an extra 5 hp (100 instead of 95). It is more of a reliability issue than horsepower.

In order for this to work on a IV, you will need to design and build an entirely new engine mount and most likely cowling system.
