    Default engine mounts donuts

I am swaping my old 912 80 hp for a 100 hp ULS and I have bought to John a new engine mount with new rubber mounts.

I would like to know for the bolts the torque value and if I have to tighten until the bushing inside will be in contact with the big whasher that old the rubber on one side and the engine adapter on the other side?

)ON my Super Sport the torque for the engine mount bolts is listed as 160 to 190 in lbs. I picked the middle and used 175 in lbs.

    Thanks for your help.

This torque is just like that without checking if all metalic parts are in contact or all the metalic parts must be in contact with each other? (engine mount, bushing inside and engine adapter)

    Jacques,

The outside washers and the center bushing should all be in contact with each other, creating a solid assembly around which the rubber & motor mount can vibrate & move.
