The bungees when rapped properly don't soften the ride while taxiing. It will be llike an unsprung set of wheels. It will soften a less than perfect landing though.

at gross weight on my grass strip there was no movement of the gear. even with my less than perfect landings no give in the bungees. i guess tight is better than loose so i'll have to let them tight. just doesn't seem like they offer any shock absorbtion. my old set started out at 5 wraps and ended up at 7 wraps. i changed them because they were around 20 years old. these have been on for about 5 years and a couple hundred hours. hundreds of landings.

    thanks for you thoughs.
