Default varnishing Options - best brush type

What do you guys recommend for a varnish brush using the 2-part varnish? It seems to me the brushes will get ruined, so should I just get some cheap foam brushes?

    Hi Roger,

One opinion about your brush question - it is difficult to determine compatibility on any synthetic brush with the solvents involved in the varnish.

Natural bristle brushes (mostly these are hog hair) with bare wood handles and metal retainers don't react with the solvents. Some of these are really cheap at Menard's or similar.

    Sincerely,

    Dave S

Harbor Freight Aviation Department has them too. Super cheap
I also bought several small disposable plastic cups there for mixing, painting from.
