    Default A brother passes

Sunday May 1, Richard P. Woodsum took his last flight in his Kitfox Speedster N89MM.

Dick was a friend from New Mexico when I had a hangar @ LRU (Las Cruces). He had a Kitfox Speedster that he frequently flew to EAA 555 breakfasts. He was a great commercial pilot, an aircraft mechanic, and friend. This shows that aviation can take away the best of the best.

    Pete,

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Woodsum family and with you on the loss of a friend. There is nothing comforting to say other than that he left this earth doing what he enjoyed... Godspeed Richard.
