Hi all, does the thermostat bolt on to the engine block or can you use an inline thermostat and which way is the better way to go.Should I be able to order on from a local rotax snowmobile dealer?

    Thanks Willis

Hi Willis, no inline thermostat, it fits in the engine cylinder head housing very simple to install, there is a NAPA P/N but I don't have it, but I'm sure you can get one at a Rotax snowmobile dealer that's where I got mine many years ago.

Picked this from an old post ...Napa Thermostat part # 18-3558
I dont remember the temp for this therm, but should be 160 deg

I run this thermostat in my gray head and the water temp stays on 160
