    Yes its a nice looking engine and no doubt a good one but not a light wt by any means 170 lbs puts it in same wt cat. as the Cont C-85 which is a 85 hp at a lot less rpms and many more choices of props. Just my thoughts.

    To me what is significant about the Revmaster 2300 is what you get for the money. A quality , newly manufactured in the USA 85 hp engine with accessories for $7200.00. Maybe a better choice for aircraft like the Sonerai but the upcoming Revmaster 3000 is an engine that might work well on a Kitfox for a good price.
