Geo...Sure it counts! So it goes, the panel seems to be one item in the plane build that takes quite a bit of time both in planning as well as executing the task. To me, one of the most rewarding when you see it materialize and makes one catch themselves doing more airplane sounds.

Lots of nice panels! Here is mine. I wish they would have had the molded GPS mount when I built it.

here is what I am hoping will be my design. Centre is the MGL Voyager, to the left are the 2 mags, key and master. To the right of the voyager and down is the throttle and above that the choke. The 3 round are a V6 radio, Alt/airspeed, and RPM for backup or the co pilot, and below that is the transponder. Top center is the IVO IFA. Below the transponder there will be a few switched for lights, fuel pump, avionics, etc.
What do you think and what have I missed?

    Hi Mic
I would put the IFA switch about 1" left of the throttle shaft. Very easy to flick left or right with your finger and hand on the throttle providing precise control.
    Cheers

Mic, great choice on the Voyager and V6 by MGL.
The V6 must be the smallest in-panel comm. with intercom yet.

Maybe look at MGL's Infinity Single's in 2.25" for your back ups too. MGL Infinity Single's. That would make a great looking panel.

As Don already suggested, you may want to locate the prop. control switch right next to the throttle along with the choke. Makes prop. adjustments much easier and safer if you don't have to remove your hand from the throttle during takeoff and landing.
