Westach 4 in 1 Gauge
Hello ,
I have some trouble with my engine instrument.
The oilpressure reads 20psi as soon as i apply power it reads 20psi and when the engine is running it goes up to 90 and doesn't come down much.
The oil temp, as soon as I apply power goes all the way day down way below 100 and does not go up when the engine is running for a while.
The wiring seems to be correct.
PLEASE HELP
Thanks

My guess is that the oil pressure is reading 20 psi too high. My typical oil pressure was 70 psi.
My guess also is that the oil temp sensor is bad. This is one issue I had repeatedly with the Quad gauge. The oil temp sensor would work for a while then quit - doing what yours is doing. I relpaced mine several times then in frustration, made my own.

A couple of ways. Either drill out the old inside of the sender and install new parts or if you have a lathe, make a new brass fitting and install the parts. I did it both ways.
The inside will be a thermister of the appropriate resistance.
