We went as far as 6 miles east of Concrete. The closer you get to the ocean the better the conditions are.

any trouble with eagles getting in the way that far up the river ? i havent flown that far upriver . this morning would would have been a good time to do it . we made it over to rimrock and tieton before it got too windy or bumpy

I would say that we had no eagle problems. We just saw enough to be happy. We had no problems with any birds; it was just a great experience.
