    Default How to Remove Wheels

Seems like a stupid question to ask,buuuut...is there a trick to it? I tryed turning the wheel nuts(which are those nylon locking type) and the lugs just rotate! How do I get a wrench in there to hold the head of that bolt? Thanks...Dan

They might be the Douglas...there are 3 allen bolts. What do you use to get the center caps off?(Can't get a short screwdriver in there to pry). I took the wheel pants off and need to remove a long bolt that is attached somewhere in the hub...need new centercaps too, since holes were drilled in the middle of mine for this bolt....Thanks, Dan.

I just usually get some channel locks and rock the cap off. I usually run several layers of masking tape to keep the scars to a minimum.
