That sure was a great way to spend my Saturday morning. I'll be dreaming about that trip at work for at least a month. It was great seeing you again Joey.

I made a trip finally this season, even if it was late September.
We stayed the night at the strip in town at Dixie. e stayed at the lodge there in town. The food was good and the price for everything was very reasonable.
    Then on to Dewey Moore

Then a very quick stop at Mile-Hi; it was getting fairly late

A quick visit to discuss the day at Cabin Creek

I then flew past Mile-Hi on my way Northbound to drop off my friend at Allison Ranch and then on home. We had made several other stops on the previous couple of days, but not as picturesque as others.
The main reason to post is so I can recommend Dixie!

If you get the chance, fly out to Terlingua Ranch, Lajita's/Presidio area. It's worth the trip. I'm planning on it once I finish my current project. The "Ranch" has been closed lately so if you want to stay there (they have cabins, pool and a restaurant) check their web-site first. Dirt runway with a covered tie-down area too.

And from the looks of it they are open !
