    Default 912UL low RPM

couldn't get the usual 5200RPM today - only 4800, with a little roughness. It was fine on a previous flight half hour earlier, so I ruled out the OAT (30deg C). Both mag sets check OK (150 RPM drop on each @ 3000RPM). Visual inspection revealed nothing unusual. Fresh 92 octane gas. Suggestions/thoughts... anyone?

Check your carbs, cables and/or air cleaners. Sounds like a classic case of carbs-out-of-sync.

Found the problem: rubber flange between right carb & intake manifold was cracked open on both sides.
    Thank you.
