    Default Push to talk switches

I am trying to decide what to use for my stick mounted push to talk switches that don?t require a specific grip. What are people using?

please include pictures or links if possible.

Also, why do quotes, and apostrophes show up as question marks in my comments? Is it an iPad thing? Notice the word don?t in the first sentence of this comment.

Yes, it's a known issue with vBulletin when posts are made from iOS devices: see here.

I haven't seen anything more about the forum upgrades that were contemplated in the last few posts of that thread so it doesn't appear that a solution is imminent.

I bought switches from mouser.com - they have lots of switches available.

Do they slide into the tubing, or are they designed to attach to the grip?

There are lots of options. I bought ones that were threaded and then put a 3D-printed insert into the top of a kid's bicycle grip. I got this idea from Tracstarr here on the forum. I think you could get slip fit buttons that fit the tubing. Side note, after flying with this set up for a year, it's not my favorite. I prefer to have PTT and trim separated. At some point I'll change the grip and do that.
