OAT for G3X and back up G5

I'm trying to find a reasonably priced OAT

Does this work ? I take it the G5 would just read off the G3X, in a PFD failure I'm sure the G5 is just fine with no outside air temperature and it's back up battery??

Don't think you need all that stuff. Just the GTP 59 that connects direct to the GSU 25 ADHARS unit, pins 1, 2, 3 of P252. The GSU 25 communicates on the CANBUS with data on OAT.
