New Garmin Experimental Radios

Few months old now, but Garmin has discontinued the following radios:
- GTR 200 (panel mount)
- GTR 200B (panel mount, with Bluetooth)
- GTR 200R (remote mount)

Those 3 have been replaced with the following:
- GTR 205x (panel mount)
- GTR 205xR (remote mount)

Both new models will have bluetooth, 3D audio, 8.33kHz spacing, and unlike the certified 205's, these have the 2-place intercom maintained from the 200 series. Panel mount also gets the following:
- colour display;
- touch display;
- audio EQ;
- timer;
- improved freq. finding;
- 16W upgrade option.

Obviously there's a price increase to reflect the improvements, but I find these to be very welcome improvements. Not a complete overhaul, but made a good product better. I'll put putting the panel mount version in mine. Anyone else?

Garmin GTR 205 / GNC 215 16W Enablement Card

$1959 CAD....yikes. I guess 10W is gonna enough for this lil fella.
