    Default Turkey Mountain

I flew into Turkey Mountain on Saturday morning.

It was an hour flight from Bolivar, Mo. The Airport is situated just above the Arkansas border on Table Rock Lake.
It was the annual September BBQ. For a donation you got a huge pulled pork sammy, bbq beans, chips and cole slaw.
About 40+ planes plus about 100 aviation enthusiasts were there. Was a great time!

A couple of gorgeous AT6 Texans and a beautiful Stearman were definitely the highlight of the afternoon. I was the only Kitfox driver in attendance. A gusty north wind kept us all on our toes. More than one visitor was asking for an airplane ride, but I kindly refused. Never had that happen before...
