Lots of Kitfoxes of that generation came with a certain (I won't say the name) wood 3 blade prop. They're pretty good props but being wood they deteriorate over time, especially when they're on planes exposed to lots of moisture. They have been known to part with blades. I bought my 1995 model 4/1200 kit unbuilt. It came with this prop. After doing my research I replaced it with a Kiev.
