I tried these sunshades over the last few days on numerous flights during the day (90+deg) and really like them. They block about 75% of the heat and light from above, are easy to install and remove plus their easy on your wallet! About 12 bucks on Amazon.
I didn't squeegee out all the air pockets like I should have but they still adhered well and stayed in place! Even with the doors cracked open!
