    Default fuselage covering

Does anyone know if the fuselage can be covered prior to fitting the wings? Thanks in advance

I'm relatively new here, and I don't think I'm as far along as you, but what does "fitting the wings" mean?

The wings have to be mounted to place the #1 rib and butt rib in place. They have to be glued in place while the wings are mounted to the plane so not to misalign things.

Ah, got it, and that's what I assumed. I did the mounted wing work, removed the wings, and I am doing that work now (tanks, false ribs, leading edge, etc.). I'm following the sequence in the manual. One downside of covering the fuselage now (perhaps minor), is that once covered, everything in the fuselage is harder to access.

This is very true. I wanted all I could get done in there done before covering. Baggage compartment and auto pilot servos and wiring and anything else that's going back there is much easier before covering is applied.

Especially if you are thinking about having the yaw dampener installed. That plate is a bear to put in after the covering!!

I've noticed a trend of people covering first which makes it look great initially
but I can't imagine the difficulty in wiring etc with the fuselage covered.
I won't be covering the fuselage until everything is completed that
can possibly be finished prior to cover including installation of the
yaw damper. I highly recommend waiting until the last possible moment
    to cover/paint.

That's my plan as well. Diddling with many things internal to the wings or fuselage will be more difficult once things are covered.

I?ll follow up on my post. I did cover the fuselage before fitting the wings however I had plastic tubing to be able to pull wire after. I try to build for future maintenance. So I wanted things still fairly simple to get to after the fuse was covered if you follow what I?m trying to say. Just think ahead and you?ll be fine if you choose to cover now.
