Have been lurking around for a while, and doing lots of reading.

I have a Cessna 150 which I'm going to sell and want to go to a Kitfox 7 with the corvair engine. I've seen several people on the board that are also headed in that direction, but does anyone know if there is one flying yet?

There are several guys in the process of getting Corvair engines ready to put in a Kitfox.

As far as 100hp VW engines, I haven't found any yet. The two commercial versions of the VW engine are in the 80hp range. Not sure anyone has a 100hp VW that is considered reliable yet.

    The Corvair Engine is 28 X 28 inches. The Continental 0-200 is 32 x 32.

If the cowl will work for a Continental, it will work for a Corvair.
My Corvair engine is completed and I am awaiting kit delivery.
