Default Places to visit in your plane in and around the Ozarks

Here is my local flying rag with some things to do in flyover country if you find yourself out here. Mostly involving food! Lol.

    Lots of choices this weekend.

    Enjoy,
    Andy

Went flying about the countryside on a beautiful day and ended up at Willow Springs airport (1H5) and met a nice group of guys from EAA ch. 1218
It's just a short 30-minute flight south from Houston, MO.

It was Friday and that's their workday. Presently, they are restoring a J5 Cub. I was invited to lunch at their facilities and given a tour of the hanger. What a great place! Picture perfect!

Was able to play with the a/p while flying to Bolivar, MO. (M17) It's about an hour or so west of Houston, Mo.
Another great bunch of guys is stationed here at EAA ch. 1809. They are also busy refurbishing a Zenith 750.
They serve up a great pancake breakfast the 4th Sat. of every month.
