Default Rudder Stop Contacting Rudder Cable

My rudder cable or more accurately the metal attachments are making connections nuts r with my rudder stop when I apply full left or right rudder. If I apply left rudder the right cable will rub on the rudder stop. Anyone see this before? Maybe I’m doing something wrong? IMG_0460.jpg

I moved the cable attachment links to the rudder pedals. I also filed the corners off of the rudder stops. I sold the plane and don't have a photo of that though.

Are the bolts at the rudder cable slightly loose to allow them to pivot in the holes? They need to be able to pivot and should have a bolt with a castle nut and cotter pin.
