    Default Elevator bearings and bushings

The bushings that slide inside the bearings for the elevator have a coating on them. After polishing the bushings to fit that coating is gone. Question is...does anything special need to be done to the bushings as far as corrosion goes now that the coating is gone?

No. You will be keeping them well lubricated... which will prohibit the formation of corrosion (rust).

Aren't those pieces 4130? Sure that coating isn't mill scale?
