    Default Kitfox S7 915iS cowling?

    Hi, new person here.
Me and my friend are building two RC model STi's, and I'm having trouble modeling the cowling in CAD. What I'm trying to make is the "speed" cowling for the rotax 915 or 912. There are plenty of reference photos on the internet but I just can't seem to make it look right. I'm wondering if I should just email John Mcbean and ask for a basic 3d model of it, or if the community has one? Pretty far fetched, I know.

Closer... Guess I can always just hand shape it with foam and fiberglass.

I'm in Caldwell and I have an un-installed 915 cowling. You come come and look at it and take more detailed pics.

Thanks for the generous offer. Caldwell isn't that far from here but seeing as I'm a youngster and don't have my driver's license just yet, it looks like I can't take you up on that one. Sounds like I will be going to high sierra next week though so hopefully some people (Trent comes to mind) will let me take some measurements and pics
