Default Any kitfox owners in VA?

Good afternoon everyone, I was hoping I might be able to find someone close to me with a kitfox 1-4 that I might be able to come and look at. I'm a bit bigger, at 6'4" 240lb and want to know if i fit before i drive across the country to look at a plane. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The length of your legs is a big factor. The thickness of the seat cushions make a big difference, but I believe those earlier models would probably be uncomfortably tight for you. Iā€™m 6ā€™2ā€ with a 34ā€ inseam and skinny at about 175#, and the Mod. IV is uncomfortable for me.

New Guy - my plane is in Culpeper - but it is a SS-7. You are sure welcome to check it out but not sure how much it will help in answering your question.

Thanks John and Delta. If you are uncomfortable John, I would probably be even more squished in there. If only I had the budget for a newer model.

I have a model 4. I'm 5'11 and 170 and it's borderline uncomfortable for me on flights more than an 1-1.5hr. You need a model 5-7 in my opinion.
