Desser 27.5 tires?

Hi folks
Anyone have any info on when Desser will have
Their 27.5 tundra tire back In Stock?
When I called Desser directly the sales person did not know what a tundra tire was...really?

I am in the same boat. I think the supply issues are effecting tire production.

I have had some Desser 8.50-6 aero classics on order since February 2nd. I have called a couple times and was told that they have no idea when they will be in stock.

Spruce, Wag, and Wicks all say the same thing on all the "tundra" tires.

Very frustrating having a brand new plane and I can't fly it because of tires......

I talked with Aircraft Spruce as well today
And the said Desser has pushed the delivery
Of 27.5 tires they have ordered several times since March.
With no promise when they will actually arrive.
Hope production ramps up soon.

I just got to the point last week in my build of my 7STI, where I needed to start moving my build around in the hangar. I purchased TK gear and Baringer wheels and found out that Desser 27.5s are currently out of stock everywhere. One place I called indicated that the on dock date for Desser tires has continually moved out since early this year the current date is August 28th, according to my source. But with no guarantees!

After discussing the problem with Bryan Bowen, he advised using ATV tires just for ground handling. Understand that these tires are just for pushing the plane around in the hangar ONLY.

I've got some 6.00x6 tires and tubes that came on my build, which served just great to roll it around. They've never seen 2mph. You're welcome to them if you can scrape up a set of 6" wheels.

Edit: And I think we're a long ways from done with tire shortages. If you anticipate needing tires for your car any time soon you should start shopping now.

Yes the 27.5s fit a Baringer 8" wheel.
