Thread: Fuel Tank Rinse Wait Time

  1. #1

Default Fuel Tank Rinse Wait Time

Does anyone know why the red sheet fuel tank instructions say to wait an hour between rinses of the fuel tank? It says to let dry for an hour but why does it need to be totally dry before rinsing again? The manual instructions don't say anything about drying in between.

Rinsing too close together runs the risk of breaking down the resin rather than rinsing the surface wax away from the surface of the layup.
    It's more of a precaution.

AHH! Being a retired engineer, I like to know why I'm doing something. Now it makes sense!
