    Default Fuel Tank

My kit will be here on Monday, I am planning to install the wings at my hangar as I will have the room to fully rig the aircraft and then take it home to finish. Is it best to have the wings attached to the fuselage when installing the fuel tanks or is it OK with them off as long as the number 1 wing ribs are installed?

You’ll be fine as long as #1 rib is bonded in place while the wings are attached to the fuselage. This pretty much “sets” the spar location fore and aft.
