What do you do to attach the velcro tape side? Seems there's not much to attach to in spots.

If I'm seeing the picture right it attaches to the tube on the bottom of the window.

Harlan you are right, and that spot right below the side window is one of the worst. Mine does not stay attached very well, although it seems to lay in there ok. On some of the tubes where it has to wrap around the tube I have used small zip ties to hold it in place and that seems to work quite well. I am trying to figure a way to use some zip ties on that side window spot. Maybe some others have some good ideas.

This 3M product is flexible and strong. I have used it for years. Still has not come off the jobs I have done with it. Comes in white and black if you can find it. I always use the fast cure. There is another 5200 that takes several days to cure. Both seem about the same strength. I have used it on velcro before and stays put.

Harlan , on my Series 5 , I used the supplied velcro but trimmed it to a lesser width to fit the tube that I was sticking it to, but as Jott says this is still a problem area and about every condition inspection, I have to go around with 3M contact cement "resticking" any areas that have unstuck. Thanks everyone, you have given me several ideas to help me.

Harlan - look for a msg from me with pictures of the parts the factory sells to address at least some of your question. If I find a part number tomorrow in the shop I'll post here for all. Darrel

For the rear area Velcro attach points, I made some plastic pieces that clip onto the tubing and provide a nice surface for the Velcro. I used some adhesion promotor spray to help ensure the Velcro would remain stuck to the plastic.
These were 3D printed. I can share the .stl files if there's any interest.
