Default recovering a fuselage with Oratex

    Hi everyone,
Soon I will be looking to recover my Kitfox Mk2 fuselage with Oratex 600UL with backside coating.
May I ask what the preferred method is regarding what size and shape pieces to use ?
the bit that confuses me is the top piece from the turtledeck back to the vertical stabiliser where it transitions into a curve towards each side.
I think the bottom should be one piece and the sides one piece each.

    Any hints or tips ?
    Cheers.
    Skelly.

Split the top into two halves. That is actually easy to cover. The challange will come when you install your tapes.
Some people have used one inch wide tapes and made pieces shaped like a banana peel and attached to either side. I pulled off getting the two inch
    wide tape to adhere.

Eddie has good info on his build site.
Here is a video of how we done it. Covering starts around 3:50 on the video.

That won't work on a 2. The top aft fuselage isn't the same. For a 2, do it in 3 pieces. One from the turtledeck aft to where the fin ends at the cross tube, and then one piece on each side up to where the stab slot ends.
