Has anyone found a source for the 1"x1"x1/2" tee needed to plumb the heater core in? (besides kitfox)
Thanks

I installed a Thermo Bob thermostat, and it has a bypass line that is run through the heater core. I think it's a good way to go, although up in northern Mn a heater is probably more important then in Tx. The thermostat does keep the temp up where you will actually get plenty of heat from it, where maybe otherwise you might start thinking about having to partially block the radiator when temps are in the 40 or 50 degree range.
I like the idea of the thermobob. A bit on the pricey side but if I lived in a cold climate, that would be the way to go
I found this on amazon. I think I'll try and drill out the 1/8"NPT to 3/8", tap some threads, and in screw in a 1/2" adapter.
I used a couple of nice lightweight aluminum ones from Stealth Conversions in Pleasanton, CA. Search for "radiator hose tee" on their website -
