Default Nose gear pivoting during backwards roll

While rolling my tri-gear Kitfox into the hanger for the first time I hooked my floor winch to the tail skid and dragged it backwards into the hanger. As I should have foreseen, the pivoting nose gear immediately pivots to one side or the other and won't stay straight by itself for very long. Short of converting to a tail dragger, has anyone a good suggestion for locking the nose gear somehow or is there a tow bar out there that I can attach to my winch hook and tow it backwards by the nose gear?

You could lift your nosewheel onto a furniture dolly, etc. I just welded a tow bar for mine.

Kitfox has a really nice telescoping nosewheel twobar which can be easily put in the baggage bay for trips. Got that, very light, love it.

Full castering nosewheels just don't want to go backwards without some help!
