    Default Canadian Insurance

    Hello,
Looking for some info on Kitfox insurance in Canada, is there anyone you would recommend? Does being a member of EAA or COPA make a difference in cost?
    Thanks in advance.

    Sandy @ https://www.soundinsurance.ca/aviation-insurance-quotes
Marsh, Magnes, Air1 are all popular as well.
There are only 6 underwriters in Canada for this anyway so your shopping will be limited..

I use Marsh Silver Wings. Very inexpensive.

Sure, why not, let's revive an old thread!

So is it worth it to become a COPA member to get cheaper insurance??

I just renewed with Marsh under silver wings, liability only policy covers you in anything you fly, copa membership not required ... Marsh used to be tied in with copa, when that relationship stopped there was no apparent reason why the switch and prices went up, so I just stayed with Marsh ...

had first flights yesterday on my total rebuild project ... this makes me think of getting a quote for hull not in motion coverage
