Thanks Brandon.
Not too many search results for the extended tips yet.
Email sent.
Tried a fine tooth jigsaw blade but it was still grabbing, so switched to a diamond tile blade and it works like a champ.
Smooth the cuts with belt sander and its looking decent.
I still have to trim a new windshield, so any acrylic cutting practice is needed and advice is much appreciated.
Thanks Brandon for the quick email response with the instructions.
Just an idea,
I think you are using a clamped jigsaw to trim the fiberglass light fixtures.
I was using this tool for plywood and fiberglass. It should do a smooth job with the windshield.
The unit I have is made by Fein but you can get similar from Home Depot. They have a variety of blades.

Thanks for the tip, had not tried one before, pretty impressive little tool.
I found when using the semi circular blade, it was easier to start a cut in the middle of the item.
Much less jittery or stabbing.
The round blade should be a lot easier or less aggressive if working on the windshield.

I use a dremel with a Perma-Grit cutting wheel and it cuts like butter.
