Default Laker Leading Edge different for sti wing?

I'm trying to fit my laker leading edge. The manual says to line both long pieces up with rib #5. They don't cover the full length of the wing. There is an extra short piece to maybe bridge the gap? Not sure exactly what to do here. Sage advice would be appreciated.

    Below is a video explaining:

sent you a picture via IG. There are 3 pieces per wing. 2 full length and one smaller made of that extra 5th piece provided. You cut it in half and trim to fit. Center off Rib 5 trim both sides off and then use that third piece on the wing tip to cover the remaining rib. When you butt your edges up each side will cover 1/2" of the rib. Reason is to not have a free floating joint. Ends obviously are trimmed flush with the wing root/tip.
