    Default Stainless door frame cap

Those of you who put the stainless steel or aluminum lower door frame scuff cap on, what adhesive did you use? The structural adhesive or ?? I have been thinking about using Proseal or 3M 5200 as they are more flexible. I bent up some ss caps and have them in place, but not adhered yet.
    Thanks.

I used 3 pop rivets per side. If you ever need to remove them you are out of luck if you glued them.

Hmm. Not big fan of drilling holes in steel fuselage tubing, but it would hold it in place.

I used a small amount of silicone caulk. Its attached and when I recover the airframe it will rip right off.

I used a small amount of Hysol. I think if I ever need to replace them they will pull off, but will probably need new sill protectors.

I bent my own door sill angles out of aluminum and used silicon.
