When I bought this kit, I was excited that the original purchaser had also purchased the Grove gear. I did not realize that it was taller than the one I had on my first KF5 until after it was installed and I tried to get into the seat. That's when the tape measure showed that the gear was 27in rather than 22in. I do not know what to anticipate what take offs and landings will be like on this gear. Taxi tests restrict forward sight over the cowl to zero, much more than the shorter gear of my first KF5.

My first flight is slated for sometime next week so any anecdotal info I can get would be greatly appreciated.
