    Default Mechanical Fuel Guages

    Greetings,
I have searched the forums and only found mention of tube type wing fuel guages. I have a KF2 with 6 gal aluminum tanks with the below fuel guages pictures. One Guage shows below the empty mark when empty unlike the other which looks normal. Is there any adjustment on these or should the one that's below empty be replaced? If so anyone know where to get a replacement. Thanks

I think you will find that there is a float and lever on the back of the gauge. Pull it out of the tank and you may find fixing it is quite simple, they are not complicated units.

Those are just like the fuel gauges in a the Cessna 120/140. Calibration is done by bending the arm on the float. You just need to bend it a little to match up the E marking. Make sure they read full when the float is at the top of the tank too.
