    Default Throttle and choke dimensions

Hello all. I’m about to have my panel laser cut and I was wondering if anyone could provide the hole size needed in the panel for the throttle and choke controls that are provided in the rotax 912ULS firewall forward kit. I emailed the factory last week but I haven’t got an answer yet and this is the only measurement holding me back. Thanks in advance

I would have them cut the holes to 1/2” then use a strep drill to achieve needed size.

Not sure what model you have, but aren't they usually mounted below the panel? Mine is in the Kitfox 4. JImChuk

It’s for a model 7. I have seen some mounted below the panel also but most 5-7’s seem to have the throttle mounted on the panel. I guess I’ll do as recommended above and step drill to finished size. I appreciate the info.

When I bought my IV, the throttle was in the panel but the bracket below the panel was still there. In the panel it felt high and awkward to me so I moved it to the bracket below the panel. There it is very natural. That said, since yours is not a IV, I would put the seat pan and cushions in and see what works best before cutting holes in the panel.

McFarlanes website says the Vernier throttle is mounted into a 3/4" hole.
