Tire question

I have 6 inch rims and 8.00-6 Turfglide tires at the moment.

I’d like to put 8.50-6 Dessers (smooth) on instead. Will I need to add spacers to my split rims to allow for the extra half inch width? Or will they be ok without?

i will be using tubes.

They should work fine, with no shims required. My experience is on my 6" Cleveland wheels, and the Desser 8.50x6 smooth tundras.
